This collection contains photos and plans of ships and shells built during the First World War at the Port Arthur Shipyard. The company built Naval Minesweeper Trawlers for the Royal Navy and Freighters for the Imperial Munitions Board (British). Artillery Shells for the Imperial Munitions Board were also manufactured here. This collection has been donated by Dave Benedet of Thunder Bay, ON and is fully accessible through the Gateway to Northwestern Ontario History.
